WOW.... Last weekend was perfect... great weather, fresh snow, and groomed trails. We saw sleds from around the Midwest hitting the Rusk County Trails. The warming cabins and local establishments were full of snowmobilers having a great time. And guess what..., this weekend looks even better. Great seasonal temps in the high 20's are forecast, we received more snow already this week, and the groomers are continually out on the trails. There won't be many more weekends like this... so get it out and ride. All trails in the County are open and are in great condition. The conditions keep getting better and better. Anyone droppin in this weekend? No need to travel any farther north or east! trust me!

Stop bragging about how great your trails are man geez!! hahahaha
He is right people get on over there and enjoy their trail system, its a blast

We're coming up tomorrow night, and staying through Monday .... we'll be staying in Ojibwa. I'm assuming it's still good to the south, towards Ladysmith? With the Birkebiner (sp?) going on to the north we will likely avoid that area and look to ride south.

You bet man! We just went out today and every club trail we rode from Ladysmith to Holcombe and back up to Weyerhauser were all groomed! Im sorry I keep braggin it up on here guys but I can't help it, we havent seen conditions like these on 10 years lol! I will post pictures later this evening!

Yep, a great winter so far! the trails are perfect here also...and the off trail is the best i've seen in my short life.

I hear ya Fly! Boondocking is actually all we have planned for this Saturday up in the Blue Hills! Tons of untracked logging roads and twice the snow up there! Should be a hoot!

Heres some pictures from todays ride (myself and pro-xfirefighter)! Another 90 miles today. Heading back out again tomorrow afternoon. Photos are of the Blue Hills (Mt. Atlanta and Bald Hill) and also one of the Flambeau Hills towards Holcombe. The Blues were on my left, Flambeau Hills were on my right. Can anyone find the fire tower in there lol? Hope you enjoy the pictures guys. My old sled blew up again today, only 200 miles after the rebuild.... ouch
