Area 51
Any places we really should check out around Rangeley this weekend for an adventure or stay away from. We're planning on going up 82 to 117 and around Coburn Gore too. Thanks

I recommend go off trail. Trails are to icy, bumpy, hard packed. We went about 5 miles on the trails and couldn't take anymore today so we just messed around on some mountain.

Rangeley is fantastic riding right now. We were there last 2 weekends and are going back this coming weekend. Plenty of snow and nicely groomed trails. I heard the lake is in rough shape from the rain last week, but the trails are second to none. Why fight the crowds in Pittsburg when you can drive the same miles to Rangeley? When you get there you can head northwest out to Bosebuck Camps for lunch. Head north east up toward Eustice and on to toward Moosehead if you have the time. Rangley to the Forks area is about a 4 hour ride. Ride southeast toward Solon and the Railroad bridge is also about 4 hours. South to Mt. Blue is a scenic ride. It will also take you about 4 hours to completely circle Rangeley Lake. Whatever your pleasure. Make sure you have your stickers...EPO's are everywhere. If you are a track-spinner, beware, the locals will hang you like a deer if they catch you. They take much pride in their trails and have been known to display dead track-spinners melted to their burned sleds at deer-check stations 10 feet off the ground. Enjoy!

Thanks, how's the ride to Colburn Gore? Have you ever been to Bosebuck at noon? You better have 2 hrs to kill. I've been twice and it's a mad house.
