The sled will run for a while, sometimes an hour, sometimes 10 minutes. It will lose spark. Let it sit overnight, and it will run, and do the same thing. Any ideas??? I was told stator, but I always thoought once a stator was dead, it was dead!!!! Im thinking cdi? I remember many yrs ago we had a 340 RV that did the same thing.

Nope I had the same proplum.. It very well could possibly be you stator plate. With my arcticcat it did the same thing and one of the copper coils was gone so i bought a new one and it worked fine. I have a 79 440 blizzard and The cdi boxes on them are like tougher than nails. On those old sleds the only thing that the cdi box is for is the inital spark. If you can get it to run its not the cdi box. But if i where you I would cheak your coils. If your willing to part it out let me know ill definitly buy alot
