A super nice family on vacation here in the NEK gave Mrs. Grip and Mrs. Crazed a ride in their cool caboose:

The kids loved the ride:

Hows the ride in one of those things? We were following a group saturday that had one and it looked rough, but this guy was crankin with it. The wife joked about getting one for our dog to go with us.

I bounced around a little bit! When the trail got a little smoother the ride was pretty cool! I really wanted to try it out to see how our dogs would like it, we tossed around the same idea. I think that it is a little to rough for the dogs though. Mine would hate the ride.

My 5 year old daughter would like the caboose, but her first question would be, "can you hang the DVD player in there Daddy." Since I do my riding in Woodford, I would actually be scared to tow that thing around with me given the Yahoos out there
Bedlam Bikes
I would NEVER tow my son in one of those ANYWHERE on the weekends. I would only use one on local private trails. Dont get me wrong, I think those things look really fun for kids!

Its just that I've seen way too many sno-cross maniacs and even worse - losers drinking beer while resting at intersections.
