my son was trying to change a plug on my 1999 Mike Houle Mach z. Well, he yanked it off and the spark plug wire totally got detached from the coil. I tried to stick it back in and tape it up with some electrical tape, and it worked fine. But after i ran for about 20 seconds, it started running on 2 pistons, then back on 3, then back to 2. Should i get a new wire and spend 50 bucks on it? or just expose the wires a little more, and stick it back in and hope for the best? I have relatives coming up to ride, and i'd like to get it fixed before this weekend.....thanks
