Snow was great up North rode about 210 miles between Caddy, Welston and Thompsonville. Most snow I have seen in years.

the snow was great up there but it wasnt worth driving 8hrs round trip and paying for a night stay and so forth.
This year the trails were fantastic, the best that i have seen in several years. Just wished that i could of stayed longer.

that is a staging area in wellston, mi. across from a gas station. and a little restaurant called the kozy kittchen on M-55.

we stay right in town at a place called schmitt outfitters. My spelling might be off a little. but his place is directly behind the Marathon on the corner of M55 and Seamen Rd. in wellston. great place to stay. $85 a night for two full size beds. rooms are back off the road. I will have to look around for the phone number for ya.

Dude you are nuts. The drive is very easy, I do it every other weekend sometimes ever weekend. I have not ridden one mile in Indiana this year and I don't intend to do so. Hell I would sell my sled in I had to ride down here all the time. I guess thats why there is chocolate and vanilla.

i worked all day then drove after that. and did the same on sat. makes for long days when i get up at 4am, and go to bed at 1am the next day. makes for along weekend. Yes the drive is very easy. but it would help if i was ready for it instead of being ready for bed.

I know what you mean I get up at about 4:30 and then ususally stay up until at least 3 the 1st night we get there. Makes for a long day the next day, but if you having fun who cares! LOL! Happy trails! I am leaving to go up in a couple more hours.
