Not sure if they are going to be racing or not but I'm heading up.

It will be great weekend!.... if they have it. They may have too much snow on the ice like last year. I'll be up there with the family wether they have it or not. I'm lookin to finally open up my new XP for longer than a few seconds!!! I forgot what it's like to hold her wide open!! Hey looks like we're kidda neighbors I'm in Newtown. This thing has been cancelled for one reason or another for the past 3 years so keep your fingers crossed.

I called last night, they are going to decide on the racing Tuesday. I am going regardless, with my two sons 8 and 7, should be interesting. The Morey hotel said there is a lot of water on the ice. It is looking like they predicting temps in the single digits at night for Wed,Thur & Fir, how can there be standing water?? We shall see. I ride a Copper colored ZL 600, I'll probably have an excited little HCS'er riding with me. Maybe I'll see you at the bar Friday night.

There's water because the large amount of snow that they got. It's keeping the ice from the really cold air and it's raining now to boot. I was there about 3 weeks ago and there was water but on top of 10" of ice. Today isn't helping at all but looks like we're in for some cold temps. If they are cancelled, I'll be staying at our cabin in Vershire and just hitting the trails.

RACES ARE DEFINITELY ON!!! I just called Morey & they said they are definitely having them! FINALLY!!!
