Do you have to take ITS 89 the roundabout way through oxford and buckfield and get on ITS 82 by Wilton? Or is there another way to go straight up through bethel etc.?

Pick up an Oxford County trail map, they are free and put together by the MSA. Many stores and sled shops in the area have them. You can go through Harrison, Norway, Greenwood, Woodstock, then on to Rumford without going all the way to Bethel.
