I'd like to know too. Dad's 08 Dragon Turbo (FST) has about 250 miles on it and won't hit much over 95mph!

Yep that's about all she wrote. I have an 08 Dragon and my brother has an 08 LX both stock. They are both great sleds we love them, but high ninty's is all they run.

Check your water temp sensor. The wires rub the jackshaft cover. Watch your temps on the gauges. If this is the problem your temps will be all over the place. Mine typically runs around a constant 150 degrees. Below 122 degrees you won't have full boost. Mine only went 97 before the fix and after 110 mph. The only thing I did is fix the sensor wires.

YES I have, for about 40 years now. If it breaks, it breaks....if it breaks, buy a new one....No big deal. I am just stating the facts, and what one should experience for speed at that point in the process....ie Top speed of 99-mph with 200 miles on the new sled.
However, thanks for the reminder.

I think what he is saying is get some miles on the track, drive train and engine. like a new truck off the lot you only get 15 mpg at 80 k miles you are getting 20 mpg.
get 1000 miles on them new stiff tracks and try it again. on a speed sled you usually drop a few mph by putting on a new track. if you rebuild the engine your first couple races are going to be slow as well. since there is a lot of friction in a new engine.

About right for 200 miles - Eventually top speed will be 104 - 110 - More info about FST's can be had at ww-.Polarisfiles.com

My wifes 07 IQLX has seen 110MPH MAX readouts quite often.
I reset it almost every time we ride.
Right now its parked "for the season" with a readout of 106
Note: that last readout was registered as she was passing a F6 that was reading 110 +mph

I also have a 2008 IQ LX M10 and top speed is around 93-96 mph. On the GPS My max on the gauge is 106 mph. There is a different from speed and track slippage on the gauge. Just like max recall on the gauge for RPM. With 2000 miles on this sled now the more I drive it the more I like it. The handling and the ride out ways the top speed.

I have 1100 miles on 07 FST (no studs) and rolled on against an 06 Attack (studded) yesterday on Little Diamond Pond. Both sleds were pretty even. He saw about 106 on his speedo, I saw 99. Forgot the GPS.
