Went for a ride today out of Pawtuckaway. Trails in the park where good and recently groomed (last night). Went North on 17. Once you got to power lines it was pretty rough until you got to where Crank Puller started to groom. Groomer could not make it out from the park to where Crank Pullers started because of water bars.

Once we got to where Crank Pullers groomed the trail was wide, flat, and solid. I was amazed at the condition of the trail with the amount of rain we got. The water bars where scary at times but sleds were able to go through most of them. If not we were able to go around them because the power lines had a shite load of snow on them. I could not believe DirtDummy was going through some of the water bars.

Followed 17 which was great the entire way. We went across the field after Jenness Pond and did the big loop across Bow lake into the Barnstead system and then back out to the field at Jenness Pond where they do the water cross.

We went back down the pole line and then back up the power lines. We did about 80 miles and I have to give DirtDummy and the SNHSS a big shout out for the conditions of the trails even with the water bars. DirtDummy broke down last night because of a broken hydrolic line but was back up and running on our way back grooming the pole line.

Thanks again for your hard work to maintain that section of trails and it was a pleasure meeting you today on the trails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The crankpullers have been kicking ass this year with there grooming. Went on an awesome ride from strafford, barnstead and northwood yesterday, all groomed except for the barnstead trails, but they are usually good so i'll forgive them lol. Just if we could get some cold weather to freeze up the water bars there would be zero to complain about.

SVSR (Barnstead/Pittsfield area) have been hurt this year with equipment and operator issues, Hopefully this will be cured soon. The Massey was down twice in the past two weeks, and when it was up both of the main operators where busy with work obligations. The tucker is grooming everything NE of Bosco Bell. Thanks for the "pass" on the ungroomed trails. I rode the same area on Saturday morning and seeing the trails like that annoyed the crap out of me.From the Groomer barn in Pittsfield to the junction on Evans Mtn. and back is a 10+ hour pull there is talk about running that trail in shifts (one guy runs out another runs back) Time will tell if that happens.
