We rode from Waterbury to Groton today and the trails were fantastic. The groomers must have been out in force yesterday! Hardly a bump in 125 miles. Groton State Forest was the highlight of the trip. Flat and smooth as a pancake. We had lunch at the Upper Valley diner and looped back through barre and East Montpelier. Just fantastic conditions. Get out and enjoy it while the snow is here. Thanks to the groomers and volunteers. beer_cheers.gif

Tony make sure you hit 302 from Barre to Groton. Just awesome. I wish I could go again tomorrow with you but I have to work. yucky.gif

I know all about being at work and missing great riding conditions, I was stuck there all week. wall.gif

I will take you up on your advice about hitting 302. Did you take the goat trail section of 2 that runs behind Woodbury College and up the hill on the other side of route 12 or follow C212 to Maple Corner and then head south? When I rode back from St J last weekend the goat trail section of 2 was beater and I am thinking that C212 might be the way to go.
