r_c.gif According to the news today. The NEK has not seen a snowfall record which we have already beaten in 130 YEARS. That's how much snow is here, with more do tonight, this weekend and next Tuesday. My phone is off the hook, as friends and relatives from around the USA, are finally hearing that the NEK actually exist. Just thought I would share this news. I have been snowbound and stuck in my home now for nearly a week. My sled was getting me out, but not now, snow is way to deep for me to break trail. Who knows, maybe Vermont will place 1st this year with Best snowmobiling.

Sweeeeeet!! party.gif We're heading to Island Pond on Saturday for a week to enjoy 4+ feet of snow and mint trails. Now that's my kind of vacation. Hope to run into.....let me rephrase that, see some HCSer's along the way! To all the groomers and landowners who donate their time and effort to make this sport possible, THANK YOU! thumbsup.png

Hmmm, a few weeks ago everyone was crying about it raining - which it might do again on Monday. :-(

Hmmm, no room for pessimists here...they called for all rain a couple weeks ago and look how that turned out and even if it did rain Monday, with the amount of snow they have, one day won't end the season.

I like to think of myself as a realist so I can play both sides! smiley-faces7.gif

For five years I've been taking the week before prez day off but due to work (that nasty four letter word) I had to push it to prez week this year and what should have been the week I'm on vacation it's been picture perfect!

The storm Monday won't do much damage. Watch the models for the 50+ weather and rain they are advertising right now for 8 -10 days out. Hope that doesn't verify, but the GFS hasn't been doing bad this year long range. It predicted the January thaw very well. Heavy riding this weekend either way.
