I'm sure it was just a honest mistake. So that means the regular gas will be cheaper then 4.50?

I ride in Woodford but come over from NY through Bennington where gas is more reasonably priced. In some ways the excessive price of gas at Twin Brooks is akin to the hefty charge to park there. I don't own my own business and don't pretend to have excellent business skills, but it just seems like charging reasonable prices for fuel, food, parking, supplies, etc. would keep people coming back. If I owned a business I would want people taking about my establishment in positive ways not negative. Just my thoughts...

X2 - buy the gas on the way up to the hill. $4.50/gal - what a joke, and disturbing as well! wall.gif

I know for a fact that chubs pays more per gallon for the gas he sells then if it was purchased at a gas station so 4.50 for premium is not that out of line. I have my own tank at my business and pay way more to have it delivered. The cheapest gas on the trail but not the easiest to get to is at Tiffs Store where you pay around 3.20/gallon. I can get around 160 miles on a tank so I rarely ever have to fill up.

After you leave the mall and get to the power lines take a left and just keep going on the power lines even when it turns into a secondary trail you will see gas signs for Tiffs just follow the signs. You will have to cross route 9 twice to get to the store. It is a bit out of the way but if I owned Tiffs I would make a direct trail to it. They would do a good business if it was easier to get to. hot dogs are 1.50[/quote]

I'll certainly pass this info on to them. I work with the gentleman who owns the store with his wife. He's in the office next to me here at work. Not sure about who owns the land or if he can possibly put up more signs or whatever, but will get this to him for sure. He appreciates the business that he does get as he tells me quite often.
