Heading up to Island Pond Thursday 2/21- Sunday 2/24. Hope to get about 450 miles on, will do most of the trails from Lyndonville to Jay, Derby, Norton, Cannan, Newport, etc. The usuall stops: Northlander, Cow Palace, Chez Pigeon, Robin's Roost, Tavern in IP, Legion in IP, The Pub Outback etc. The NEK is some of the best riding around and I refuse to let "Teddy" scare me away. The locals up in that area love to see us up there helping their businesses. The clubs do one hell of a job taking care of those trails for us. I have been going up there for 6+ years and love it more every year. I have friends that rent for the season and I hope to someday down the road. It is a short season but the thrill of snowmachining is unparalled.
