how much snow did you's get in this storm today. We were planning on going up there this weekend but weren't sure if there was enough snow. any snow in the forecast for the week or weekend?

I was wondering the same. If it's not hammered by next weekend I might be taking a trip up.

There is plenty of snow up there. I don't know where all these bad reports come from. I rode 125 miles up there sunday. plan on going up this weekend as well. Me and 3 other sledders were the only ones at the black forest inn for lunch. WHERE IS EVERYONE. I rode up their about 5 trips this season with almost 1000 miles. Almost all the reports were bad but I only had good running. 1000 miles and not even half-way through my carbides.

Talked to my pap round 5ish he said he's got something like a foot at his place. Should be getting more, and any sleet or freezing rain on top would be pretty good too.

Yeah, I talked to a few people that rode up there the last few weekends and said the same thing. I guess they have a nice ice base. I heard some spots it was all ice with no snow for lubrication, so overheating was a small issue some places. With this new snow it should be really nice. I haven't rode up there in a few years, I'd love to get back up.

Should be pretty good this weekend. I know theres going to be alot of sleds on the trails,everyone we know is heading north to ride. Germania store is open for gas as well as Ansonia gulf, and Keeners.
Ansonia Gulf said theres 5'' of snow & ice in the valley with more up top.
I was thinking of going to Quebec to ride with Saguenay Bill but i'll save some $$ and head to our Cabin in Germania.

Ya we're prolly leaving once i get off of school. So we'll prolly be leaving 12-1 ish. But ya we should try to hook up saturday and ride. We'll have to plan something out.
