Here's a clip of the heavy snow that came thru on Sunday afternoon in the NEK. This was by Coles Pond around 1 in the afternoon.
"Doug1991" took the video of me riding by. Shortly after this clip was filmed conditions became even worse as the winds picked up and caused 100% whiteout at times. We literally couldnt see 2 feet in front of us - it was pretty nuts out there to say the least!

holdin' it to the grip
It was scary enough driving a truck and trailer through it. I could not imagine being stuck on the trails!

Bedlam,

What did you think of the NEK and your stay at LynBurke Motel? We are getting dumped on again -but not QUITE the same as you experienced the other day.

Jen,

The Lynburke Lodge was great because its right on the trails. I really like being able to sled right out of where I am staying. Its a great cetral location to Island Pond, Coles Pond, Cabot, Burke, etc... We hit all those trail systems while there and also rode the Corridor 5S pipeline which was AWESOME.

The place itself was reasonably priced but the room could have been a LOT cleaner. I'll stay there again, but only for snowmobiling trips.

It was my first trip north of Groton, and the NEK was everything I had hoped for, and more. The riding couldn't get any better!!
