This may be off topic but I see that you are from Swan River and ride down to Roblin and area. I have a bunch of guys planning on coming to Roblin or Swan on the 22nd of February but according to Sno Man it sounds like you guys still need more snow in order to have good riding. 4 of us are coming from Regina area and another 4 from Winnipeg. I don't want to have them come all of that way for marginal snow conditions but I do not think they want to trailer all the way to the Bay or Nipawin either so can you help out and tell us how it really is? Of course the week-end was a write off for sledding.

Thanx

The snoman site is kinda a joke when it comes to up to date stuff.

I will be driving home either wednesday or thursday so go sledding for a week. So I will have a better picture on the snow. But my dad did go for a ride the other day and said the trails were good in the valley. The MB side of the ducks is good, and there is more snow then in winnipeg or regina. Over christmas i put 450 or so miles on and never saw dirt. snow ranges from 3 inchs to 2.5 feet. The farther north you go the better. All the trails are groomed near Swan. Over christmas the trails at Child were crap and it wasnt due to low snow conditions. Around madge if they keep getting snow the trails will be good. Im sure its good now and I plan to put around 500 miles or more on when i go home for "reading" week.

for the guy that wanted to know about the snow around the ducks. its there and ready. no dirt or bare spots and the ditchs look prime for drifts and some fields look fast. will get some pics tomorrow.
