Does anyone have any advice on these little sleds. It has a Kawasaki 60cc engine with a kikaki carburator on it. (Original equipment). I myself have never had it running but the guy I got it from said the magneto is faulty so he used a 6 volt flashlight battery to run it. Does that sound right? Also I had the carb off and cleaned it really well. How do I know if the float level is right? And do I just bend the little brass arms to adjust it? One other thing, right inside the thoat of the carb is the main nozzle, there is only holes on one side of it. Do the holes face into the engine or out the air intake side? I would think they should face the engine but the jets are on the air side. Can anyone tell me how this little carb works???

He probubly flashed the magnito with the battery. You should replace it ! should be a dime a dozen on ebay. Then just clean the carb.Float level should be LEVEL with the bowl and nozel should just be tight (snug) and the air will pull in the fuel)

Check the Kittycatsnowmoble.com website.

They run thru a list of things to do on your sled.

Carb cleaning and float adjustment. The mag issue, I think I saw a post talking about a kit that by passes the points and they bypassed the mag using a battery.
