I have a sony drc-trv22 that i am using with a helmet cam and I need another battery to use. The battery I have right now gives me a couple hrs battery life and i wouldnt mind having another one. I went to the Sony store and they told me a sony NP-FM30 battery would cost me about 80$ which is a 3 hr battery. I can puchase generic batteries on ebay for a fraction of the price but I dont know if its worth it.

I've tried 2 different aftermarket batteries in my sony handycam, neither worked. Seems the camera knows it's its not a sony battery, and won't fully power up. I've been told that some work, but I'd be sure you can return it.
