I have a 1982 Yamaha excel and it had the stock skis on it, all mangled up and what not so I bought brand new skis today with ski skins and got em on, cant ride it until tomorrow, just wondering what should I expect?

Anyone? Will I notice a difference?
eric Phazer485
probably not

i noticed a bit of difference when trying to move from a stop in wet snow just cause the old skis glued to it a bit, wont be much different though, carbides will be the big difference,

Yeah, they are wider by a bit youll notice better floatation but if i recall the keel wasnt as abrupt on my old sleds, so your turning may not be improved drastically, they really protect the skis nice tho, i put a brand new pair of skis on the jag when i had it and ski skins at the same time, and when i sold it the skis underneath were still like brand spanking new

Well I must say I am very impressed, added about 10km I think and its so much easier to steer. grinning-smiley-023.gif
