Just wondering who's thinking about snow checking a new sled for 2009?
I can't justify paying top dollar for a new sled in Canada only to have the valve of the sled drop buy 50%.
in one year.Try selling a one year old sled in Canada ,that you bought in Canada, and see how much pepole are willing to pay for it.
Dealers or Manufactures whom ever it is ,are killing the industry in Canada.
Friends of mine have purchased sleds for 12,000 plus, this year for a 2008 sled, only to see them advertised in the USA for 7,500 with in the same year.Big deal some dealers are offering 1,000 or 1500 off ,peanuts compared to 3 or 4 thousand saved going south.

I have been saying this all season. Only know one guy who bought new in Manitoba. Lots from the US. Canadian prices have to equal the US prices then people will buy. Most performance 600-1000cc now 2006-2007 sleds can be purchased for $5,000-$7,000 they retails up here of $10,000-$13,000.

Anyone know of the date of 2009 Snocheck Sled show?

Anyone ride the new Ski Doo 600 and 1200 for 2009? Do any dealers have them here? Is Ski Doo going to do a test ride like Yamaha did?

Any major new models coming from Polaris, Artic Cat and Yamaha besides the obvious eg. 800 Polaris in IQ, Dragon LX, Touring and Shift, Yamaha Nytro GT and LTX and LTX GT.

Keep the pressure on the maufacturers and dealers to get the prices reduced to being fair with the US.

I'm thinking of snow checking a new sled this spring. I don't really need to, as my Dragon is still a very nice sled, still runs like a top, and still will have two full years of warrenty after this winter.

But, IF they put an 800 in an RR chassis, and IF it has CFI, and IF it's not priced ridiculously high, I think I'll be putting my money down this spring.
