Mounted my helmet cam on my bars just to try it out. Worked okay when smooth but a little too much bounce in the bumps which I figured. Need to get the microphone out of the wind more too.

Just thought I'd share.

Guess you can't embed on here? Here's the link:

I've also got a helmet/handle bar cam and what I did to get rid of the annoying noise of the wind is put a little piece of foam over the microphone and it seemed to work decent

Mine is a cheapy with an internal microphone but I had an external jack installed on it so I now use a mic on a 6' cable. I put the mic up in the windshield area but it still got too much wind. Maybe I will try the foam.

How do you mount yours to your helmet? I drilled a hole in my old helmet but I really don't want to do that to my brand new helmet.

i was going to drill holes in my old helmet too. but instead one time I used duct tape it works but for mine I have this little bracket that holds the cam in place. What type of helmet do you have motocross or bubble? because if its moto I would drill into the visor and put a type of cloth or foam between the camera and maybe zip tie the cam on. im not really sure because I usully end up putting it on my handle bars because I have a barely any windshield or use it for motocross.
