Started my sled yesterday and when started on my ride the digital display went dead. I have looked every where and cant find a bad or lose wire or a reason for this. I still had power to my lights and hand warmers and the sled would still use the PERC reverse.
I called the dealer and they have never heard of this so they called polaris and they too claim to have never had it happen.
ANY IDEAS???

Also any other IQ 600 RMK riders having isses with boging on take off. I have tried everything but cant get it right or if you have one that is running excellent on flat land 'under 1000 feet' how is your engin set up.

Thanks

I've seen something about a battery, in the manual for my 2008 Switch

Had a handwarmer short out on mine and the display would go blank. As soon as I turned the warmers off the display came back on.

Had a handwarmer short out on mine and the display would go blank. As soon as I turned the warmers off the display came back on.

Tried that along with everyother thing I could think of and checked all the wires and connections and all look ok so I think its the display unit its self.

I have been trying to get my sled set up for a while I was wondering what the engine set up(pilot and main jets, air jet, fuel screw setting and needle setting) and are you happy with it?
Thanks

I had this happen to me on an 06 600 RMK. The problem was the rectifier/regulator. It is a PITA to get to, but could definately be the problem. Check for a short on your handlebars. Mine would dime the headlights and kill power to the gauages....no rpm, mph, etc. It is located near the oil and coolant res.
Hope this helps!
