my old man and i were out on the lake on sunday. and it was hard. he wanted to see what he could get across the lake, and he hit 110 and he was happy, then he pulled out my gps and he got 105 on gps and 110 again on spedo. he is like awesome. Then one of his buddies was ice fishing and wanted to race, and he said he has never been beat. we all know the xp is lighter by alot, well my old man is about 230-240 and this guy is about 170 wet. well they lined them up and outta the hole my father had to let off thought he was going to go over backwards. so they lined them up again he was leaning over the front. the f7 is clutched, and the xp is stock and both have studs, f7 has 102 and xp has 84. out of the hold the xp jumped out 11-15 sleds lenths guy on f7 even said it was nuts. went all the way across the lake about 1 mile and the xp spedo only hit 103. he did beat the f7 the whole way across the lake but the f7 was cathing him. they did it 3 times same thing every time, rolling start jump out 10 sleds and f7 would catch up to about 2 sleds. My father is happy but pissed, he dont think the f7 should catch him on top. i tolf him the clutches may not be open, it was weird hit 110 then only 103-104.wish they would of raced when it had 110 on spedo. I am not bashing any F7 at all, i like them. just wanted to say what happen.

Well im not bashin the new XP's because they are a nice fast machine but I have beat one and pulled away from it on top end....I heard lots of people sayin the xp fall on the top end....I saw personally first hand....we did a roll on at 60 and he nosed ahead for maybe 60 feet but then buh bye doo...when he let off I had about 2-3 on him and we were at about 100...we did it out of the hole as well and we were dead even until about 60 when he would let off....they are fast but can be beat with an F7...I run a 151"x13.5x1.5 with 70 1.75 studs so im turning lots of mass as well....the one I raced was the 136' but I have seen the short tracks and they look no faster to me...I will be riding with a short track next weekend and now am just waiting in anticipation....this time I will video tape for all to see....

11-15 sled lengths is appox 90ft. - 135ft at the start. A F7 standard is 118in long which is 9 ft appox. Sounds like moose nuggets to me especially out of the hole! Thats a HUGE GAP

it takes a well tuned f7 to run with a stock 800r. a stock f7 doesnt have a chance. i know this cause i've seen it.

im not trying to start any problems at all, just saying what this man on the f7 said, if u dont believe me then hey that is fine with me.
