Hey there all fellow sledders! There has been great progress in getting this situation handled.
There is allot that still has to be done but this is where things are & what we can do today to help.

There will be some legal answers coming this week. I am sure that by Thursday, we will all have a better idea about how the lawyers intend to deal with the MOL.

We will also know what the costs for the defense will be and who will be stepping up to get things rolling.

What we can do to help is attend/participate in the upcoming poker run. If we can't make it, buy a ticket or send a donation to the club. We do this all the time when we can't attend a friend's stag & doe or a charity event. It is one way that everyone can show support & make a statement at the same time.

It is expected that several media groups will be covering the event. The more attendance & support that is shown will help the story have a strong impact to those that need to see a unified stand.

Any businesses or groups who show their support for the Poker Run will be sure to have their names included as honorable community members committed to supporting volunteer efforts.

So whether it is a $10 donation, a $40 ticket or a donated prize, every bit of support is welcome. This kind of action will only help our sport and will ensure that our children get a chance to experience snowmobiling the way we have been privileged to.

So please, send this request to anyone you know who has benefited in any way by the efforts of any volunteers in this province.

Even if someone is unable to make a financial contribution, please take a moment to send a message of support to the club office. This will show the volunteers & Judy Ryman that they are in our thoughts and hearts during this difficult time.

Well seeing as our poker is now being postponed to the 23rd, I'm going to do my best to make it up to show my support ...... Sounds like great event for a much needed and worthy cause
