Happy to report that by the first weekend in February I have matched my mileage from all last year. I hope there are lots of HCS members out there that are doing the same thing. There is still lots of riding time left and I am positive that we are in for some big dumps of snow. God I love winter! thumbsup.png

over 1000km's in the month of Jan!! Thats mostly on weekends and a couple quick night runs!!

I'm over 1200 miles & barely hit 1900 last winter. Our trip up north next week is over 1100 miles, so yes, even w/ the spells of rain & mild temps, I can't complain.

i think i might be par with milage from last year, only because of school. also if the month of march holds some decent snow right up until the end im sure ill be able to pull in 2000+ miles

next weeks wed-friday ride with a few of the boys will catapult me over last years mileage ( a pathetic 1000 kms approx)
Redsled
I have in the neighborhood of 1000 miles in this year so far. The real kicker is that the best conditions I have seen so far were on December 17th of last year in the Ganny. Every other weekend has been Clink, Clunk, Clank & Grind. Thankfully down here in the Port we don't have a lot of big rocks to cover with snow. Gotta get the trailer out right shortly to get to somewhere with a good base.

I have doubled last years mileage so for and am up to about 2000km's and will see many more, as up and down as the season has been we have been lucky to hold our base.
BlackStar

I'm at about 850 miles. Might be 100 of those that I would concider good trails. Really disappointed as I thought this would be a far better year than the last 2, had thought of getting close to the 5000kms I put on 3-4 years ago.

So sick of banging and clunking my sled down a trail with no snow on it. Time to pull out the trailer (and wallet) and head north for some "real" snow.

Pissing rain here, to look outside you would think it was April or May, whatever snow we do have here in D4 will be all but a memory in the next few hours if this continues, I say all guys in D4 and D5 that have the time and want to - set up a time and place to meet and head north for a few days and enjoy whats left of the season. Let's get a convoy of sleds and trailers going up the 400 and head to Sud's or NB, I'm totally in because if I don't get some good riding in shorty I will end up selling the sled, 3 years in a row with shitty winters is killing me, not to mention the wife thinks I wasted money on something I cant even use.

I'm as free as a bird to leave anytime so who's up for this? Lets plan something

I wouldn't come to sudbury...unless you plan on leaving from the northern limits of the area....buddy of mine got back from Elliot lake today...said the riding was PERFECT

i just dont care anymore, yea winters are short but thats what drives us to ride more in a shorter time line. next year im planning a trip to quebec with the boys for some real riding. mother nature is a bitch

I have about 2700 km's this year.

Winds of change are blowing, looks like we might just be setteling into a winter pattern ........ starting tonight
