First of all, a huge thank you to Twilight for picking out the dates! After it seemed like no one was going to be there I was thinking about pushing our trip back, glad I didn't!!

Our group of 8 ended up being 2 other guys from Bikeman, Papa bear, uncle bear, cousin bear, and two other friends.

This was by far, bar none, the BEST snow I've ever ridden in. It was DEEP and it was deep everywhere. The pics do the riding no justice because we were way to busy riding to bother taking pictures! I wish I had my helmet cam because thats really the only way you could appreciate how great the snow was. Goggles packed full of snow, untracked, untouched, deep soft powder.

Hope the facebook album works, otherwise I'll throw up what pics I have tomorrow.

Awesome pictures and snow!!! Where was that? How did the Crossfire do and is it a 136 or 144?

Sure wish I coulda came but I guess having a house to live in is more important then sledding or something like that. Still trying to convince myself anyway. Oh well moving on saturday so I can go west soon. Looks like you got stuck a few times for me atleast glad you had fun.

Both of the Crossfires in the group had 136" x 2" paddles. The one that Cody rode was pretty much stock except the track, 3" handle bar riser, the sway bar was removed, C&A skis and an exhaust deflector was added to keep the sled from bogging when you lay it over on its right side in the deep powder. The other one was stock except for the track and snow eliminators on the running boards. With an aggresive rider they did just fine in the deep snow.
Twilight
Oh I am sooooo jealous. I really wish we could have gone but, we really need to use the $ for a bigger house before the baby gets here! Hopefully we can do it another time. It's depressing when we have to be responsible instead of going sledding LOL! I'm glad you had awesome snow and a ton of fun!

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Where did you guys go???? I see that you got a dragon....I was very close to getting the exact same sled from boomerang polaris up in melrose but opted for a 900 rmk instead.

You were right.....last year you told me that I was going to buy a mountain sled after a trip or two out west.....well, I just picked one up......I thought I had to tell you that

This was out in West Yellowstone. The 800 is the best sled I've ever owned. All it did was impress me on the last trip too.
