I don`t no if this helps or not, I stay in St Ann-de Beuprea. It`s only 10 min from the city. Awsome trials and acces. Never alolt of people there. You go to Casino or lac, st jean. The best part is the hotel prices, Try around 40 a night. Had great luck staying at motel belivue and some otheres. No worries of theft, alwase snow. The around quebec city locall trails are ussually towrn up pretty good due to trafic..
I`m up here now, gong to be thee on mon through thurs, let you no how awsome it is...hope this helps

Also, almost forgot. FCMQ site has an inteactive map that overlays the hotels, strets, whatever on google earth map. download the zip file and away you go. Just zoom in quebec city and look at the trails, select motels in the search block and all the hotels will appear on the streets with links to there priceing. very good tool to use...

We have stayed many times at the Quebec Inn near the airport. They have secure parking for truck and sleds. Just go out the left entrance of hotel cross street up owners driveway to access the trails.
