I was wondering if anyone knows anything about these boats. It is in awesome condition with less than 100 hours on it. It has the 5.7L motor in it and has the camper top and the storage top. I took it for a ride in the summer and it ran great. It needs a few small things from sitting in storage like one battery(one is new), thermostat and the windshield wiper didn't work or the bilge pump(could be fuses). The voltgage gage was jumping around and the temp gage didn't work. It has been in storage at a marina for a few years so some of these things are understandable. This is a friend of a friend. Other than that the boat looks like new. Like I stated above one downside is that is does not have a trailer. Any idea what this boat is worth without a trailer? Any idea how much I can find a trailer for? Thanks guys

This place has nice trailers and they are located in Utica.. They have a few options that would work for
that boat.

For a new trailer you're looking at $2,800 if you can find a used one $1,500 or less??

If you can get the boat for less than $9,000 I'd go for it.

$9.000 for that boat would be nuts it ain't a damn Bayliner bowrider!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 97 278 and love the boat as Four Winns is pure quality, I would not take less tthan $45,000 for mine.

You wouldn't take it because you wouldn't get it.... Look at the book, it's a 23' 95 and has no trailer.. I think Four Winns are nice boats but it's been in storage for a few years and has some minor issuse, so I'd offer $9k... I'd go up to $10,500, but I'd start at 9K.

EDIT: You can get more for a boat in your area....A guy drove 10hrs from Canada to buy a sled I sold at top dollar..

Well, the boat has actually never been listed in a paper for sale, but it's for sale and they said they would take 10,000. I did not offer anything but would definitely start on the low side. I think your right on in the 9,000 range , that's what I was thinking, maybe even a little less considering the issues and if I offer while it's still winter. Thank's for all the input.

I had a 98 and loved it. If it has the duoprop esecially go for it in that price range. There is a guy in Manton that sells four winns trailers also. I kept mine in Torch lake but it was pretty good in the big water also. It killed me to sell it.

I get my boat values from NADA. According to NADA edog your right in the ballpark as far as price on that boat goes. Depending on condition and what it has for equipment on it books between $9,000 and $12,500. I would say with out the trailer and with it needing som e minor issues fixed I wouldn't offer any thing higher than $10,500 for it.

Hey greenmachine not to rub any salt into your allready open wounds but every one's right nobody in there right mind would pay you $45,000 for a '97 278 vista. Max dollar on that boat with all the options, low hours, and if it looks showroom new is about $22,000

I had to stop there and L O L

For 45 000 i could almost buy a brand new BAJA 20ft islander with a 5L MPI. Baja is alot better quality too imo.
