That's some pretty steep gearing. If the motor can pull it she'll have some long legs.

Same gearing was stock in my 02 700.

What kind of shocks does it have, the regular ryde fx? thanks

That's the same spring as the old almond (square) Part #7041566...same rates at least. I'll let you know if that clutching works out. I already have that secondary setup on my sled. It's the same that the 600 HO Fusions / IQ's use. The primary clutching looks similar to what I was running on my 660 HO except 4 grams heavier on the weights. I've got an almond (square), almond w/ black stripe (square), almond with blue stripe, and this new black 140/330 which is the same rate as the almond (square). I've also got a bunch of 10 and 11 series weights. We'll see what tomorrow brings about. Target RPM on these engines is right around 8100 RPM in the flat lands. My gearing is 23/40. The track is 1.325, 136inch Cobra.

With that setup but a black/green primary spring I was down a few hundred RPM.

Thats not weak by any means... the secondary is pretty steep (140-200 spring, and same helix as the 600 cfi) that's a weak spring which will load that motor. Same gearing as the edge 700's and 800's had with the button secondary. From what I hear, these new 800's flat out move.

Damn near what I'm running in the Dragon

10-68
160-350 TRA (and think I'll go back down to a 340 or a Pol 335 lb spring)
66/44 helix
red/blue (140/200) spring

Only I'm at stock 23/39 gearing.
