video says it all, you can have your turbo 1200's that cant get out of there own way, I am going price!!
Blackrevcaker
that sled is a radar sled, wouldnt last long, the 4 stroke turbos will ast way longer!! either spend more on the 4 stroke now, or put the money in to pistons after.
Jacob
I dont know if you noticed or not but there is a turbo yamaha making the exact same power and 11 more pounds of tourque as that, plus the 4 stroke would last twice as long as the 2 stroke.

Ill take a 4 stroke, that 2 cycle sounds like it will blow at any given chance, given roller bearings on the rods might be the week link when going big. JMHO russian_roulette.gif

how do you do the little faces? I want one smacking my forehead. youve got to be kidding me right?

of course its a race motor, they are built for one thing, racing, if you want a high milage sled go get a stock one.
I am sure there are plenty of yamis out there making better power. but this is a two stroke and in the 2 stroke world it is one of the strongest right now. 380 hp on pure motor, name me a yami making that hp with no turbo or nos.

1200 turbos can't get out of their own way??????????

Let me see now. It seems to me that Glenn Halls D&D 1200 was running pretty damn fast on the grass last summer. A full-bodied trail sled that was running faster than most open-mods out there can definately get out of it's own way.

The trick to this thing would be to harness that 530 h.p. and get it to the track. May not be too hard in a 2000 ft. speed run, but pretty damn hard in a 500' or 660' drag race. I'd prefer the 1200 myself.

I believe Glenn did a low 8 sec pass @
158-161mph on tar last year with that
413+ hp "old tech" 2-stroke! Just depends
on your priorities. Look for something better
from him this year.

I'm sure if someone builds a 1725 cc 4 stroke it will make that power.

Kinda funny but Brendt Hoag handed JOHN WHEELOCK His own ass, John did not even make the finals on his top fuel turbo Yamaha. In Lite mod Hoag killed Wheelock by 15mph 119 mph to 114 mph

Keep on kicking the Yammi butts!!!!!
