welp, I'm assured a two place trailer. I just may rent a pickup from budget for two days and hed out. Bro in law sounds like he won't be able to go but will let me use the trailer, and my friend doesn't think he'll be able to get a sled. Not really wanting to go alone out to rapid. I'll figure something out by weds. though. If anyone is interested give me a holar. 359-9847.

That's all I have for pics. The only time we stopped was for gas or to check out Spearfish Canyon Resort. Our average speed was around 50mph. There was a good 21" in some places, LOTS of powder grinning-smiley-023.gif I'm thinking of upgrading the Phaser already to a '97 Mountain Max 700 and going out again soon. My bro-in-law has the blue '99 vmax 700 and I found I NEED more power. Even though with my track and light weight I was able to go up steeper hillsides alot quicker.

I had plans to head out the the Black Hills this week but temps in the 50's will keep me away from there.

Give the Black Hills Trail Office a call at 1-605-584-3896 and check out the trail website for conditions. What the weather is in rapid is never what it is in the hills. They had 40's in rapid and it was the 20's up at the trailhead near spearfish.

Is there anywere else within a half-days driving distance? Norther MN up north of duluth maybe? I may just pick up an 02 SXR700 with a 136" track and will need a place to check it out in a week or three.

The UP still has good snow. The drive is about 6 hours from Albert Lee, MN.
