I don't do a whole lot with the Ski Doo's but I got a 98 Mach Z that runs fine in the shop but you put it out in the cold and it looses spark after a few miles. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

those were known for the stater going bad
service manual has info on checking you will need a olms meter
you can buy each piece on the plate or a complete plate
