I just rode our trail system. The trails in town are perfect. 105A is thin. 105 has plenty of snow on it, but the warmer weather is making it hard to keep it smooth. Nevertheless, the weather this week will determine what happens to our trails. I will keep our website updated with the current conditions. www.driftdusters.com

I rode all around both Derby and IP this past weekend and trails were in great condition. Snow was a little thin in areas around town but once you get into the higher grounds it was great. I hope also the weather doesn't cause to much melt down.

Tellin it like it is, I was up in Derby from Tuesday to Thurs. Rte 105 like Gaderx said is not bad lots of snirt though. Rte 105a is bare as of wed and Rte 5 across salem lake toward IP is rough. The only smooth spot on this is when your crossing a road and your on the road itself until you get to the juction where IP turns around. Sorry Gaderx gotta tell it like it is. I am not ditzing anybody because you can't work with nothing but the Drift Dusters are doing an exceptional job with what they have to work with. If you stay at the Border definetly take Rte 105 out and back. Anything after you cross highway RTE 114 was nice 111 111B 102 106 96 97 114 etc etc . This probaby may not be a fair report as it is from thurs until noon and you know all the groomers are out thurs night. Gaderx sorry we missed ya but I can warn ya we will be back next year for sure! Nice job on the parking lot!

You are absolutely right. This was the worst week we've had. Its snowing now, so things might start looking up. I am sorry conditions weren't better. 105A is still thin, although the 5 inches expected should help. 105 has plenty of snow, we just need a break from people riding it for it to set up. We have seen record amounts of sleds out while we were grooming. Anyway, the groomer is still going to be out every night this weekend. Regardless, please come and support our services.
