10 cm of delicious snow has fallen overnight piled into fluffy drifts begging to be busted. Temperature's dropping like a stone. -36 expected over night with a fifty below wind chill. No respite expected until the week end. This country man's snow bound for the day which explains the melodious tinkling of the computer keys. Fun factor high heading into the week end. It's gonna be colder than the dark side of the moon first. I'm very interested to hear how this blizzard is affecting others. Oh yes I'm twenty miles west of Saskatoon mercifully sheltered by poplar forest. I bet Wakaw to Yorkton corridor has received a major dump. How about the snow deprived regions of the the South East? Inquiring minds want to know. Besides this soon to be sizzling discussion topic is a lot more interesting than watching Oprah is it not. Signed snow bound in Grandora and loving it.

Nothing here in Weyburn,Sask. Last couple days with the temps being on the plus side, we lost quite abit. The wind has picked up this Monday morning, but like always- the snow will miss us. Always seems to hit hard an hour north of us every year. By the look of the forecast, Regina and Yorkton area will get hit. Oh Well, my sled is payed for so I can sit back and hope for snow, the others that are making huge payments on their new sleds will have to trailer North to get snow! I forgot to mention:Sled payment, 1.07 liter for fuel and cost of trailer and accomodations- has to suck to not have snow!

Well its 3:15pm here in Weyburn and we are actually a part of this blizzard!! In the city at times it is hard to see 20-30ft ahead. I would hate to even venture out on the highway a mile or two. Will have to find out where the wind dies out so a person can head that direction to find the snow!

im not sure how much snow we received but it definitely was a good amount to make drifts in the sloughs and out in the field. we have them drifts all over the fields too. i dont find them rock hard though. they are firm but they bust apart.
i went out today for 3 hours or so and man are there some sweet ass drifts in the sloughs all around the area. busted and pounded drifts... sweatin' my bag off till i went thru the field then my face started getting cold. other than that it was a great gas burnin' day!
