i pivked this sled up 2 years ago rode it about 15 miles noticed a shudder when you got on it ,found the skid to be in poor shape i read in these forums about upgradeing to a newer skid bought a extra 10 on ebay when i started to put together i found a crack in the tunnel where the new holes were to be. sat on side of garage till this year had tunnel welded and reinforced put in skid sled runs real well but the tach only hits 5000 when your pulling hard but the sled is moving fast i'm wondering if the tach could just be off or when the guy put in the motor if he wired something wrong its a extra sled i haven't had it on a lake yet so i couldn't see what its legs are like but it pulls the ski's up when you hammer it , it also sounds sweet being a triple . just wondering if anyone on here ever heard of these symptoms with the tach

it depends on if the how many pulses the tach reads compared to the pulses the ignition is... some tachs are 2 pulse and some are 6 i think
