walleye ran his 03 f7 studdless with what must have been a chuck norris clutch kit!!!lol

and my 6 year old son was fascinated with all the air planes that flew into watch,, I suggested to him to chase down one of the pilots and ask for a ride but he declined, tyler is a little shy I think!!!lol

And I found out my f1000 is a 3 up after all!!

We had a heck of a good time out here today! there was anything from vintage sleds to all those awsome running 1980's to 1990's tripples and 4 strokes and then some of the big boys were there showing off their stuff! also had a 4 wheel drive car with a v8 running a 100+ in the 1,000 foot glare ice run!! and motorcycles and 3 wheelers, and sleds on wheels!!
pretty much something for every one!

I think everybody had fun today!! nice sunny day. Great family event. Gull lake is such a wonderful recreational area, and ernies always welcomes everybody!! good food too!! also, I think someone said that the radar runs on gull are the oldest ones in the state!! interesting fact

I always have fun on gull!! I like showing the area to my son as my family homesteaded on the lake in the 1800's. Back then there was only 5 other families living on the lake!! it is a neat place.

beautiful area.

I think my 10 month old daughter might have a litte gear head in her blood!! she slept great right at the starting line where we were watching!!lol. the noise didn't bother her at all..

Yeah it was fun today! i got there at 11am, got to see that v8 buggy go just when i got there. My friend told me that he heard that it took that guy 8 hours per tire to put in all that drywall screws in there! jeez! lol

Yep i was holding half throttle the entire way and the speedo was registering 90-97mph all the way lol, trapped 71mph, i was just curious and it was 5 dollar a run. then i dont know if you saw me race my friend with his MXZ 700 that black one, he does 94ish all day. We raced first time, and we both lined up too close to eachother and we were in the air the whole start and none of us wanted to be the one to let off the gas to steer! i was like a inch from him lol, but he was ahead of course since he had studs, then i just started to pull past him!!! for a year he didnt believe i could beat him. lol after like 5 races, i still proved him that F7's are the fastest 700cc!!! I told him wait til i get studs! lol.

Roger i keept a big outlook for you the entire day! didnt see you. I started to think that you might be working inside the trailer or something. but turns out that you didnt come at all! was a great day though! Are they doing it again in march?

Jet, i can arrange a airplane ride for your son, i will let you know this week. OHHH did u know that one of those plane when they landed, one of them hit the lighted pole!!! lol

By the way thanks for letting me try out the F1000, but let me try it again after you get the valves fixed! Such a nice comfortable sled to ride! How come u got the controls twisted so down low? That was a little uncomfortable to me. but its your preference.

Tyler would like a plane ride!!

The controls on the sled take 2 seconds to adjust!!lol..I actually adjust them on the go!! I'm always playing with them. I think I had them set low today from when I was riding the river yesterday.. I like to lay low on that sled when cruising fast!! I don't think I can ever own another sled again that doesn't have quick adjust on the bars and seat.. I like those features.

I seen that one light pole marker was tipped over and broke off!!! never thought that maybe one of those airplanes hit!!lol. scary

If you decide to stud your sled I have a template, marker and special drill bit for the job if you want to borrow...!!
