Lmao yes I know. A little word of advice: get out of this dying forum and head over to "Dootalk" it is awesome and really good guys with tons of knowledge ready to help out a fellow sledder! Ok, back to your post, I`d have to bet all my money on the clutched 700. I have a BRP mechanic friend that has a maxed out clutch set-up on his Mxz 670 and he has killed the 06 rev 800. So if you take a stock 800 against a clutched 700, there isn`t much difference in the motor size so I`m betting on the 700 for sure!!! Come on over to the doo site, you will wonder what you have been missin!

I don't think a brp mechanic could max out a clutching set up... but ok

back to the post.. i would have my money on the 700 porting can add 10hp.. and clutched... and "geared" geared for what 70 or for 120? what are you exactly "geared" for???

the 800 wont gain any hp from the can.. most of the time they actually gain nothing or even lose some power. But you do lose weight and it sounds cool IMO... !!

i dropped 3 teeth on the top sprocket in the chaincase, it cut my top end speed down noticeably but its seems to be alot quicker from a dead start.

well if you havn't raced yet i bet you won till the top end... then he passed you because you were maxed lol

yah, in a 1000 foot drag hes history, the 800's are slack on the bottom end bigtime, well, the ones that i have seen in action. a friend of mine had one and in 1000 feet he could never get it up to speed quick enuf against a well done up 700 mxz.

3 Teeth, way way to much, and i hate to ask but what is fully ported? The 700's ideal gearing is 24/44 or 25/44 the 800 is 25/44.

There's only about 7 HP difference between the 700 and 800 so a good port job will make that up.
