I'm in the market for a 120 for my 5 year old. Are all the 120's the same or is one brand prefered over another? Better engines, less problems overall, etc? Anything to stay away from? Thanks for any input. Marc

From what I have seen the older Doo's don't have real front suspension, the poo's don't have any shock in there rear.
The Poo's engines seem to be very fast.
The first year cats don't have real front suspension either, but every year after does.

i have a 2000 polaris 120 and we have 2001 arctic cat 120 like them both i like the susp on the polaris better .. the polaris is faster but it,s been tweaked a bit it was a mini racer before i bought it, no real problems with either one ,but i have to say the cat is easier to work on , the polaris is dam near impossible to get the carb off .. but over all no problems never liked the ski doo mini even though i was a doo buyer for years they seem cheaply slapped together .... just my 2 cents good luck

My 5 yo is tall for his age; is one bigger than another? He sat on a newer z120 and the seat seemed short. Thanks for the feedback. Marc

I have an '01 polaris and an 03 cat .I think the polaris is MUCH better than the cat.I have gone through 4 throttle cables on the cat and haven't replaced a part yet on the Poo
They are all the same size and cost

i have 2004 z120 has 6.5 briggs intek ohv with electric start full shocks in rear custom z200 stickers match original color scheme from arctix fx upgraded shocks in front, reinforced a arms and also sports 2 -24" green neonlight strips in the track, you can always tell where their at in the dark, also had quick change rear sprockets and hub right now it does almost 30 but you can gear it back down and reset the governor for a new guy
oh it also had matching green foot grips installed.
