Here is the long and short. I ordered parts on a Monday and was told, no problem for Friday. Parts arrived on time. Only thing is they were the WRONG Parts. This is the 4th time they have screwed up my parts order. Then they can't understand why i'm upset... Missed a trip up north. Thats why. Then I just said screw it and walked out. Then this B^%$%& from the back comes out the door and tells ME not to ever come back. It took everything I had to just keep walking. ON the way home I stopped at a machine shop and the guys there made me a new set of bushings.. Free of charge no less... I went right out and got them a 12 pac of heinikens. Now for the best part of the Enfield story, They never even refunded my money, Hey Enfield, I hope you read this. Choke on my money.. I don't even want it back. I hope everyone who reads this stays away as well. I'll order my parts on-line from now on. Who needs to deal with a piss poor attitude. I know the customer is not always right, but you have to understand thier frustration and deal with it better as a company. P I S S O F F E N F I E L D

Never will I return. I'll but a Sled at Smiths and drive just a little further......

My experience with thier parts dept is that if the factory didn't make it, they don't want to be bothered to order it. I have gone in looking for parts on older sleds. They looked it up and said its no longer availiable. That was it. No offer to see if aftermarket was available. If you want aftermarket availability, you have to ask them to look it up instead of them offering. There is one person in parts who does do a good job, very helpfull, but otherwise, I dont like going there. I keep thinking I should talk to the owner and let her know about lost sales in aftermarket parts, but I never do.

There is a place in Enfield where you can get your parts with great service and great advice. Try Marks Motorsports. They can and will order anything. Basically, whatever the price is in a Parts Unlimited or Kimpex catalog, that is what you pay. They pay for the shipping. So if you were to order a $50 item online, you might pay $6 to $10 for shipping. Order it at Marks, you pay $50 plus tax, $3, saving you $3 to $7 dollars. They can also order parts for ATVs, Snowmobiles, Motorcycles, Scooters, both factory and aftermarket.

I don't work there, but I am a VERY satisfied customer. They are my first stop for buying parts locally. Mark, Jen ( owners ) and Eric are great people to deal with. If you go in there, just let them know they got an attaboy on HCS!

I stopped going there as well. Shitty service and they tried to sell me the wrong plugs. I know what the sled takes but this guy is telling me I am wrong. I told him to look up the recall for that year and then tell me what the plugs are. He replied there wasn't a recall on my engine. I said bye! I now go to Flamingo's in Palmer, MA or Hunters in Central, CT. I order most of the parts on line from Flamingos. VERY happy with them and their service. Sales guy drives from East Htfrd to work there....that's a long drive....

10-4 ill use marks or drive to new boston and cofeills before going there. they act as if their doing you a favor everytime you call or go in. the prices are always higher i cant believe anyone would buy a sled there. when you do business with jay and toby at cofeills they know the sleds, they know the parts, and care about the customer.
Prozac
I hate that bitch Diane with her attitude Im shocked the place is still in business. I have spent significant money in there I have bought 2 motorcycles and a quad there but she still treats me like shit because i didn't buy my sled there. kissass.gif

No he didnt....Just so ya know...I never bought a sled from New Boston Crane.....but they were however always happy to service my sleds as if i did buy them there and take care of anything i needed regardless of where i bought my sled. It was worth the 1 1/2 hour drive.
when you say "all gone" what do you mean? closed up shop? or just got rid of "Cat".....unfortuneatly with "ARCTIC CAT" being the "A-holes" they are in the management dept....and CT. area loosing more and more Cat dealers...its harder and harder to find a dealer close to home...let alone one that tells you to take it somewhere else. Im keeping my sled 1 more year...my Brother is buying a brand new one (Yamaha) once he finds a dealer with a more than "selective service" dept.
i wish Roger from New Boston all the best! class act!

He just got rid of Cat. My buddy saw 4 truckloads getting taken away a few weeks back.

You sure he didnt just unload all those leftovers he had? or did he infact drop the dealership?

I just avoid them. Just like LakeSide, but Lakeside is gone!!!! Did you by it here? "But my wife bought a sled 2 weeks ago from you" 3 weeks, we can see you.

yes, nobody could figure out what was wrong with it...that sled got more miles on the back of his truck than it did on the snow this year. he was just trying to find a dealer to help him find out what was wrong with it, as it never ran 100%, bogging all the time. Arctic Cat themselves never returned his phone calls, Dealers would tell him the sled was fixed, only to find out when we were all on the trail it wasnt. the only thing that didnt malfunction on that sled this year was the windshield! Not to mention the rest of us who had to tow him out of the woods! WE needed him to find someone to fix the sled! His frustration was justified! the only time he actually rode the thing w/o a clitch this whole season was 2 weeks ago when Exit 9 finally fixed the problem. now we can only hope the throttle wont get stuck (i think it was upto 5 times before they repalced the whole throttle assembly) I am sorry, but He came to you guys at his wits end needing help, after several of us told him to go to you and say "WE" sent him.... and you guys flat out told him to take it somewhere else. i dont know, you helped me yes... thank you! But you turned my brother away after several of us told him to go to you. hows that helping me? when 1 of us are broken down on the trail....we ALL are broken down on the trail. i dont mean any ill feelings. just understand my point of view.

thanks

I know they had a mess of 2005 left overs still in the crates...what you saw could have been them. unless Houlton Cat bought out his inventory! lol

I wouldnt doubt it. Houlton Cats has got to have thousands of sleds because it seems like he just buys every cat dealer that closes inventory.

Just a FYI...we do not buy sleds from other dealers. We buy them from Cat. Every dealer can do the same thing. It would make more sense to me if they would offer area dealers a closing dealers inventory, but that is not the way they do it. Anyway, very sorry to hear that we have lost another Cat dealer.

EMS= $35 to mount a tire on a ATV wheel. Going rate at most shops is $20. Going up the street to Mark's Motorsports and have it done.

Thanks! I couldn't believe it. Even $20 seems a bit much for one tire unmount and mount but I have no way to do it.

We really dont have the right tools either but we get it done. Seems like we r mounting someones tractor tire or wheel barrel tire all the time.

Ended up going to Columbia Motorsports. They mounted them, washed the rims and put them in the truck for me. Very happy with thier service.
