The VTGA is having our annual poker run starting at the Ile des Chenes Hotel

There will be Bud/Spud and Steak to follow along with silent auction,

Length is approx 100 miles

$5/hand or $20 for 5 Hands

Start 10 am, All hands in by approx 6 pm

Come ride on some of the best groomed trails in Southern Manitoba this year

wheres it all going...

haven't firmed that up yet.. all depending on volunteers, but we will make some good miles on the trail system

Last derby I went on that went through Ildy was from there down the Seine River Diversion to the Red, there's a shack somewhere around St. Adolphe, then onto Ste. Agathe, through Aubigny to St. Pierre and back up to Ildy. Is this the route does anyone know?

Any room to unload at the Hotel or some place closer?

There's some room at the hotel but I'd say if you're going to use it, buy a meal and a few bevies inside as thanks for using the lot. There's also the ice rink down the street, they have parking there too. I'll probably be riding in from Niverville.

skidoo75, can you let us know what the route is? Just wondering as I'd like to know how far it is between gas stations, and figure out where I'd have to fill up, etc.

we are proposing to go IDC, St.Peirre, St.Malo, Morris, St.Agathe... if we have enough volunteers... lots of gas stations

we have a door prize for participants, silent auction and of course the famous Steak and Spud that Wranglers is known for....

Looks like the weather is going to be good... should be a nice day for a ride

Your Event still on skidoo75 due to the blizzard?

Yes we are still on.. we currently have a few riders out.. if its too cold.... come for the silent auction and bud spud at steak for supper and you will still be able to buy some hands and draw them here

The VTGA would like to thank all sponsors that donated prizes and services and all the Hard Core sledders that braved the blizzard to come out.

Our turnout was alot better than expected due to the blizzard. We had only a few Iron Men that completed the entire derby.
