My suspension seems to have a major sag problem. Before just about every ride it starts out good. You know where the back end is riding high, but then as we get riding it starts to sag. In the manual it says when you sit down on it should sag three inches and I'm sure it does. But it sags a lot more than three inches by the time we get back. We've tryed softening and tightening the shock but it doesn't seem to have an affect on it. Anyone know what to do or what could be wrong??? It's really startin to piss me off.

Well I have 2007 600 ho that I extended the track to a 136. After the first trip the rear end of the sled would not come up all the way. So I changed my rear springs to .405 that fixed my problem.

What does that mean '.405'?

Its the spring diameter .405. Like your sled has .359 on it. Higher the number heavier springs.

Are the .405's too stiff for most regular (non agressive) trail riding? I weigh about 200lbs without my gear if that helps any.

Mine does sag a little to after riding. But it's not bottoming out on rough trials.

If you ride mostly trails check the tunnel for ice build up. Mine had a block of ice that had built up in the tunnel before the rear cooler that weighed close to 30 pounds. Suspension was sagging big time. Just something to check.

Ive got the same sled and put a 225 rated front track spring on it and it solved my bottoming and sag problems. I plan to go with stiffer torsion springs too, but for $40 the front spring is a cheap place to start.

I don't do a lot of trail riding but it's something to check anyway. Thanks.
