We got a little over 250 we started in Greenville and hit the white pine north then went to chase creek after that hit up oak grove, Boon fire, sawmill and back to the trailer. The trails were bumpy as hell i haven't seen them like that in a while.

a little over 100 miles. snow conditions went from one extreme to the other. a lot of dirt in the tight trails, fields had plenty of snow, west loop wasn't too bad. when we get snow down here you gotta try and ride it.
mxzgoody
259.8 from Traverse City down to Houghton Lake and back. Trails sucked south of fife lake, lots of icey corners and a lot of traffic. But boy did I have fun!

250 miles this weekend at tut and buddies were staying at Higgins. Sunk my sled yesterday afternoon crossing a river at the north end of houghton lake. . .. missing a plug on my bellypan on clutch side, as soon as water started splashing in there my belt started slipping. I made it to the edge before it stopped and the motor didn`t go under, very close mind you, 2 mins. we had it pulled out and I was on my way (with wet feet lol)
I knew I shouldn`t of tried it, everything was going wrong yesterday, I was so hungover. . . stayed too late at the Limberlost.

Exactly!! I put on 500 miles!(oh wait, that was on the truck). But I did break 100 miles and almost never touched a trail. As far as Hardcore goes, I did pull a stuck Saab up a big unplowed hill with my wifes ZR500. I will try to figure out how to upload the video soon.

Finally got up to the UP this weekend and we got in about 325 miles in total. Stopped by Quincy's place but no one was home friday afternoon, then got out too early to on Sat to impose. We road from our place in Raco to the Rainbow lodge on Sat. Via whitefish Pt. and lots of back country, then when we got stuck behind a slow moving group on trail 8 I got sick sucking Exhust fumes from the Yamaha in the of the slow pokes. That has never happened to me before, but after I stopped and booted, and let them get down the trail I was much better. Didn't get very many picks cuz we were having too much fun. Lots of Dog sled teams out on the trails around the Rainbow also, I guess there was some sort of race going on. Over all not a bad trip at all. and conditions were great with no breakdowns in our group at all. Looking forward to this weekend now at the Assault!

Thursday we rode from St.Ignace to Marquette in near perfect conditions. Friday we went up to Big Bay, back down and over to Grand Marais. Trails were good most everywhere except on both sides of Shingleton. Saturday we rode from Grand Marais back to St. Ignace. Lots of traffic, but very good trails. All total, we rode 620 miles.
JJ Racer
My brother and I rode 170 on Saturday. We rode from Fife Lake to Otsego Lake in Gaylord. There was plenty of snow and hardly any snirt but there was so much traffic the trails were fairly uncomfortable for the most part.

On the way back we were flagged by two Kalkaska County Sheriffs. I began to think about all the "wonderful" experiences I have had in Kalkaska and how this would turn out. To my suprise, I had not even come to a complete stop and they had already checked out my trail and reg tags and were waving me bye. Total time lost equaled about 10 seconds (which we of course made up in the trail). It just goes to show you that more often then not, you will have good experiences with LEOs when you have your tags in the proper place.

If any of the Sheriffs are reading this, I thank you for doing your job without being obtrusive to the people who are riding properly.
