Did you end up putting new piston and rings in. I read a few posts back you need to do engine work. Just wondering to what extent did you have to do engine work. How many miles have you put on since. Just concerned about purchasing a sled that just had motor rebuilt and not knowing who did it.
Thanks

It was just a broken wire to battery. Everyone said the way I take care of it, it couldn't be the rings.

Hang on a second... In a post on Jan 25th you said it had 90 and 110 compression. What was causing that???

Here's the original post.

He's got the same sled posted for sale on another forum that I moderate at. I asked him the same question there 2 weeks ago and he never answered me.

If I saw a question about my sled or anything directed at me, I would have answered it.

Boy you sure know how to dodge a question. Let me ask this one more time...

On Jan 25th you posted the compression was 90 and 110 here... http://www.hardcoresledder.com/forums/inde...howtopic=306029

Yesterday you say it was just a broken wire...

WHICH IS IT? WHAT IS THE COMPRESSION NOW?

Not sure what's going on, but I've answered that ? more than once. It was a bad comp. tester of my neighbors that is old. I brought it to Garneau's in Twin Mt who sevices it, fully expecting a ring job to be done. They checked everything and found a wire to battery was bad.

I check at least 4 forums w/ inconsistant regularity, so I can't remember who I've said what to. But I can say this, I'm honest when I speak. I have never dodged any question about me or my sled. The comp. Garneau's got was 135 hot and cold.

Well, if that is the case then I appologize, but you sure didn't answer the question here, nor did you answer it on the forum I moderate on. Not sure why you couldn't have just said that the first 3 times I asked the question...

Good luck with your sale...
