The sled is a 99' t-Cat (I thought someone mentioned that this was the first year Arctic cat ran the oil through the fuel pump.)

I just checked a second time and my fuel consumption was 8.7 gallons at 96 miles and I used 15 oz of oil. That calculates out to 11 MPG and approx 75 to 1 oil ratio. I rode for 50 miles at part throttle (50 mph or less) and the remainder up to half throttle and 6 full throttle passes on hard pack. Is the oil ratio progressive based on throttle position ?

Full throttle = more oil // part throttle = less oil ?

Thanks for everyones help

Yes the oil pump is progressive. I believe I read some where that the pump is 100 to 1 at idle. And 40 to one at full throttle. Please do not quote me. I am not sure if those figure are exact. But they are close.

I appreciate it, I'll leave it alone.
