Performance Cycle Machine in Lee NH just norht of the race track directly across from the nudist camp ground. He charges me $450 to do a full rebuild, balance and weld my two cylinder jet ski cranks.
http://performancecyclemachine.com/ I think a new Polaris crank is close to $900. It will be better than new when he is done with it.
http://www.partsland.com/index.cgi?N=12014...-AND-CRANKSHAFTDon't forget new crank seals, $25 each. I only trust OEM crank seals.
Might be worth looking on ebay for a motor with a good crank or just a used crank.
I am surprised that crank went so soon. Was there any sign of rust on any parts of the crank? Moisture is the kiss of death to a crank bearing. It only tankes one drop of dew sitting on a bearing for the summertime to make a nice little pit on the smooth surface which then overheats and shreds the races.
