How do I check the bearing/bearings on the track drive shaft? My mxz has a "clunk" when I slow down and then accellerate. Not from a dead stop or when I slowly let off and then slowly speed up. It's when I release the gas ans then give it gas again before the sled stops coasting. Clutches seemed alright, I tightened the drive chain. Could it be the brake rotor which is loose, the key is worn?

can you move the drive shaft while trying to wiggle it?
can you move the jackshaft when wiggling it?
how many miles on the sled?

Could very easily be the brake rotor, mine does the same thing. Unless the bearings are coming apart and you can move the shaft around the only good way to check the bearings would be to take it apart.
