Just bought my wife a new xc500sp, I currently own a 04 F-7 just because it's a rocket. Not loyal to any brand as long as it runs great and is reliable. It's her first time on a sled and she's a little throttle shy (kinda got me nervous) anyhow, the clutch does'nt engage until 4500 rpm which makes her nervous because she thinks it's going to take off real fast. I really did'nt check my firecat but it does seem kinda high. Any input?

I had an 02 500xcsp, that sounds right for the clutch to engage... that was what mine did also. If she works the throttle it'll engage nice for her, it's a great sled! alot of fun!!
