I currently own a 01 SkiDoo MXZ and the none of the lights in the dash seem to be working other than the speedometer and odometer. The Hight Low Beam light wont come on. Wanting to know if there is some type of bulg in there before I go tearing it apart.

Are you talking about the idiot lights in the center? If so, they are no big deal to swap out.. The biggest issue is the price.. They are like 15 bucks each..

The oil light will glow a little when you grab the brake (while its running)

I went thru the same thing..the year is notorious for that..first the idiot light are inop at idle..way the solenoid and volt regulators are set up on that year..I think it's about 1800 rpm where they start functioning..your oil light will operate when you use the brake..there is a switch at the base of the brake lever that wears down and is often the culprit for that light being inop...your tether light will only function if your tether is incorrectly hooked up after the engine is started..the only light I actually replaced was the Hi/Lo beam indicator...Yuo can test them individually..remove them and you should read resistance across the two pins..if you start checking voltage a mistake I made was to look for DC..you're looking for AC...GOOD LUCK

Thank you
