While you've snowmobiled in Ontario, could you fill us in on where you stayed? If you would or wouldn't recommend a motel would be great for the rest of us.

My Accommodation Listing

The reason I started this topic to get people's opinions on places to stay in Ontario. I've been working on this list for 3 years now. Just because a place is listed doesn't mean I recommend it. Only unless I've stayed @ it or someone has filled me in about the business.

Maidstone, I agree w/ you 100% about some motels up north. I refer to them as Fair. They're probably OK for guys staying on a sledding trip, but the wife or girlfriend wouldn't be impressed if they had to stay.

Hey Kris,
i have to give you credit. That is the best listing of accomodations i have ever seen! Have you considered selling it to tourisim ontario?

We've stayed @ both in Chapleau. The Riverside is OK, but no hot tub & no restaurant within walking distance.
